In preparation for a special ceremony tomorrow (9/11) members of our community sculpted Ganesha murtis. The puja will celebrate Ganesha’s “birthday.” He represents that aspect of the Divine that removes all obstacles – physical, mental, and spiritual. He has an elephant head and loves rice balls! We will celebrate Ganesha’s birthday with prayer and worship for the people who died in 2001, their families, and for the welfare of the whole world. Pujas have the power of healing and can remove any negativity that may be blocking our path.
Please feel free to join us tomorrow at 6am. The front door will be open and everybody is welcome. This is a FREE event.
If you are vegetarian you can cook some rice balls for the puja, which will be offered during the ceremony.
